L. Gilpin, vice president and general sales manager of the Pontiac Com pany. Production for the month total ed 16327 cars which breaks all records for any single month flixe 1929. Retail deliveries by Pontiac dealers amounted to 10.732 cars which establishes the mon.h as the best February In six years. The delivery Tigure shows a good Increase over the 7.375 for Janu ary of this year and more than doubles the deliveries In February 1934 which were 4.631 cars.

"There is nothing to indicate that this record-breaking pace will let up materially for some time to come." stated Mr. Gilpin. The popularity of the standard six is increasing raplfMy as Indicated by! an upturn of 18.2 In the number of unfilled orders on hand for standard six models. "So that we may be able to take care of orders on hand with the possible delay during March 18.500 cars have been scheduled for production during the month. Without any doubt the country is In a more enlhasla.s'.lc buying mood than It has been for years.
