Mosby Jr. 167,890 No trace of a masked gunman, who robbed the Bank of Acker-man just before 8 a. m. last Wednesday morning has been found, despite the all out efforts of the Highway Patrol, members of the F. B.

I. and a large posse. The masked gunman was already in the bank when assistant cashier, John Keen, opened the bank for business at 7:50 Wednesday morning. The gunman ordered Keen to open the vault, which he (th.e robber) had already tried to open, and then lie on the floor. The gunman, who wore a flour sack over his head, then entered the vault and scooped up some $46,000.00 and fled, dropping about $500.00 in $10.00 bills just outside the back door of the bank.
