The school director also joined athletic director Vernon Cote in presenting awards following Burmar's summer camp swim fes- tiyal. First place winners in tlheir divisions were Erin Edmiston, Mike Randall, Bobbie Nott, Ann Van Munching, Ricki Entin, Barbara Sanders, Brian McDaniels and Peter Bachrach.

Second place went to Felice Pomeranz, George Thabit, Jay Goldsmith, Jackie Tan, Lance Nott, Abrams, Craig Caruso and Kim Nickerson. The center serves both members as well as residents of the neighboring community. Prior to coming to Van Nuys, Rev. Guernsey was employed by the Dallas County Juvenile Dept. in Dallas, Tex. He served three years as a probation officer and two years as a group supervisor.
