The native of Ramsey, 111., and an area resident since 1923 was 75. After being named Miss IMS Angeles, Mrs. Shippee became a Mack Sennett Bathing Beauty Girl and appeared in many Sennett comedies. She also made several films at 20th Century-Fox Studios. Surviving are her husband, Jasper Shippee, of Van Nuys, sisters Viana Rudolph of Incline Village, Nev.

and La Verne Connor of San Jose and a brother, Forrest Pinson, also of San Jose. Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mayer and Mitchell Chapel, 5940 Van Nuys Van Nuys. Services are planned at a later date in Grand Junction, Colo.

Services conducted for Ben Wolk Jr. Funeral services for Ben F. Wolk Jr. of Tarzana were held Monday at the Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn Memorial-Park Hollywood Hills. The native of Minnesota died last Friday at Ross- Loos Medical Center in Los Angeles.

He was 57. For 20 years a customer operations manager with Pacific Telephone he was a past president of both Northridge and Burbank Chambers of Commerce. His af filiations included Burbank Rotary Club and Reseda Kiwanis Club. Surviving are his widow, Norma; daughter, Linda Hibbs of Pacific Grove; stepson, Steven Lucero of Van Nuys, and one granddaughter. Daisy Taylor funeral rites set tomorrow Funeral services for Daisy Taylor will be conducted tomorrow, 1 p.m.

in Pierce Brothers Chapel, 6153 Van Nuys Van Nuys. Interment will be in the Glenhaven Memorial Park, 13017 Lopez Canyon Road, San Fernando. Mrs. Taylor died Tuesday in her Van Nuys home. She was 92.

She Is survived by her sons, Edward March of Tujunga and James H- Taylor of Van Nuys; daughters, Viola Fredrickson, Mildred G.
