Phone 9-IUI Come Thru Richards' Arcades to Bang-Up Values on Every Floor! Many of us "were happy to near our chichi Roney Plaza was staying open for the summer. There have been many summer visitors disappointed in the past when they found the famous hostelry closed. Of. course it is following the trend for the summer season lowered prices on all its facilities, and if you are wining and dining your guests from other sections of the country, your wallet can take it without being flattened. My recent dinner in the soignee Imperial Room was a revelation, a culinary revelation that is, with exquisite cui-' sine and perfection in service the most modest prices.

Their complete dinners begin at $2.75, and I mean complete, including both an appetizer and soup course, entree, vegetables, salad, dessert and beverage. My meal was in the luscious class, not often found at a cost of $3.61. My appetizer was a fruit cup, really fresh and varied. My soup was a flavorful vich-yssoise. The entree was Long Island duckling' with orange sauce and segments.

My vegetable choices were a baked potato, big and buttered, and a very large serving of baby limas. The salad was a hearts of lettuce with French dressing. As for dessert there was a tantalizing list including three of my top favorites lemon chiffon pie, strawberry parfait and meringue glace. I chose the first and found it to be a dish worthy of the Roney feathery light, flaky of crust and toothsome, and of course, with it I had their famous coffee. The breakfasts served in the new breakfast room are at truly bargain prices, while those who like to skip the light fantastic will be delighted from 8:30 p.
