Miller, Associates, of the Court of Common Pleas of the Eighteenth Judicial District, has issued his precept to tae directed for the holding of a Court of Common Pleas, Orphans Court, Court of Quarter Sessions of the Pence, and Court of Oyer and Ter miner and General Jail Delivery, for the trial of capital and other offences, at the Court House in Brookville, in and for the County of Jefferson, to com mence on Monday, PcptenibKr 10th, IS94, and to continue for there weeks or longer if necessary to dispose of the pending business therein. Notice therefore is hereby given to the Constables in and for the County of Jefferson, that they are by these precepts commanded to he then and there present in their proper persons at ten o'clock, A. of said day, with their examinations, and other remembrances to do those things which to their offices and in their behalf appertain to be done. And by an Act of Assembly of 1831, it is made the dmy of the Justices of the Peace of the several counties of this Commonwealth to return to the Clerk of the Court of Quarter Sessions of the peace, ail the recognizances entered into before them by any person or persons charged with the commission of any crime, except in such cases as may be ended before a Justic3 of the Peace under existing laws, at least ten days before the commencement of the sessions of the Court to which they are made returnable, re spectively and in all cases when any recognisances are entered into less tuan ten days beiore the commencement ot the session to which they are made returnable, the said Justices are to return the same in the same manner as it said Act had not been passed. And by an Act ef Assembly approved the Itth day of June, ISSo, they are further required to return to the Clerk of the Court of Quarter Sessions a true transerint from their dockets within five days after the binding ever or bail of any parties charged with any felony entered upon complaint made upon the oath or affirmation of any person, with the names, residences and occupationsof all defendants' bail and witnesses.

And those who are bound by the recognizance to prosecute the prisoners that are or shall be the jail of said county of Jefferson are to be then and there to prosecute against them as shall be just (iiven under my hand at Brookville this Sth day of August, in of our Lord, IS'M.
