Dwlght Ches-nutt, Oaks street, was the scene of the monthly meeting and Christmas party of Circles Three and Four of the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist church, on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Louis Snyder conducted the business meeting at which volunteers were asked for three committees: To bake cookies for the Sunshine basket; to pack the basket, and to provide lunch on Sunday evening for the carollers. Circle Three made a report of the meeting they had held at the Memorial Home the past week when cookies and candies were distributed and carols sung. Program for the evening was under the supervision of Mrs.

Robert Riddle and Mrs. Paul Kroh, and opened with the former reading the Christmas story from St. Matthew, and a "Litany for Christmas." Mrs. Howard Chesnutt delivered the poem "Christmas Day," and Mrs. Wayne Snyder told of the "Legend of the Christmas Tree." Concluding the program, "White Christmas" and other carols were sung.

A rtnslronq -Collier Lc. rCHARLES FRANK TIMBLIN Funeral services for Prank Timblin, a locomotive engineer for the Pittsburg and Shawmut and employed by them since 1918 were held Tuesday, December 18, at 9 a. m. at the Immaculate Conception church. The Rev.

Frank A. Hart-leb officiated. Interment was in the Brookville Catholic cemetery. Mr. Timblin died Saturday, December 15, 1951, at the Edward J.

Myer Memorial Hospital Buffalo, at the age of 60 years, 5 months and 29 days. He was born June 16, 1891, in Kersey. He was married to Rose Ma-loney in DuBois, September 22, 1911. His wife survives him as do the following children born to this union: Mrs. Florence Conboy, Bauffalo, N.

Charles Brookille; Ef, Frederick-town; Walter Buffalo, N. Y. Pvt. John damp Breckcn-bridge, and Mary Loulse Brookville. Eleven grandchildren also survive.

In addition, he leaves the following brothers and sisters: Alvin and James, Brockport; Mrs. Margie Miller. Ridgway; Mrs. Annie Matthews, St. Mrs.

Geneva Reed, Drumrruond, and Mrs. Martha Himes, Smethport. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and belonged to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Grace Lutheran, Brookville: Sunday school at 9:30 a. Miles E.

One daughter, Lucille Stahlman, of Washington, D. was born to this union. Surviving brothers and sisters are Clyde Johnson, of Hazen; Frank Johnson, of Hazen; Alvin of Cleveland, a Mrs. Mayme Johnson, 'pf Windber. hi Mrs.

Stahlman was a member of the Presbyterian church and a S.jmst' president of the W. C. T. TJ, iyas graduated from Clarion -Norma) College in 1898, and re-; ceived an. honorary degree at her 60th class reunion in 1948.
