Rial. TEA TABLE GOSSIP. -Charles Cogley, an employee of the Manifold. underwent a serious operation in the hospital yesterday and his condition is said to be critical. -One boy received severe bruises and another escaped serious injury most luckily this morning when the delivery car of S.

S. Raymond Company, dry cleaners, located at Liberty and 8th streets, crashed into them as they rounded the corner at Howard and Orchard streets on their way to school. The boys, it is said. were on the wrong side and ran directly into the car. One boy was thrown down and bruised and the other, running over the curb to miss the car, was thrown but miraculously escaped serious injury.

-Yesterday The News printed 8 from Titusville telling of a womstory an who had entered suit against the Titusville Fair Association and another woman to recover an automobile that had been awarded to the holder of the lucky number at the fair last year. A similar circumstance has developed between R. E. Speer and Henry Emery. who are claiming a Maxwell car raffled off at the Pulaski fair last week.

Emery held the lucky ticket when number 3.051 was announced. Speer said he and his wife had attended the fair on a previous day and given their tickets to Emery, he acting as agent for them. Now Emery refuses to turn over the car. RECENT DEATHS. G.

S. Boals. Grant S. Boals. in his 82d year.

died at 10 o'clock this morning at his home on Bully Hill, Sandycreek township, where he has resided all his life. Boals. of Alton, a brother, and Mrs. Eliza Moore, of Franklin, and Mrs. Matilda Elwinger, of Utica, sisters, also survive. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon and interment will be in the Graham cemetery.

MRS. MOHR AND NEGROES FACE TWO INDICTMENTS United Providence, R. Sept. Elizabeth P. Mohr, wife of Dr.

C. Franklin Mohr. and the three negroes under arrest for the murder of Dr. Mohr. were to indicted by a grand jury on two counts, one count for the murder of Dr.

Mohr and the other charging assault with intent to kill Emily G. Berger, Dr. Mohr's companion on the automobile ride of Aug. 31st. ITALIAN ADMIRALTY CONFIRMS SHIP'S LOSS United Rome.

N. Sept. five residences and a business block containing about twenty small stores were destroyed by a fire which swept Suffern during last night and early today. The fire burned for hours. Early to-day the blaze was under control, but the property loss will be heavy.

a jealous rage William Rock, aged 40, is alleged to have shot and killed instantly Mrs. Bruno Spali, aged 28, in an apartment house near here yesterday. Persons who heard the shots saw Rock dash from the house and he was pursued by a posse over the state line to Kinsman, ten miles from here, where for several hours trace of him was lost.
