other officers were present The opening song service was in charge of the song leader Harry Lykins of South airview Prayer by Joe Wool ard The morning program was car ried out as scheduled with Guy Blackmer of Miami discussing the Sunday school lesson at 11 At 12 the attendance prize a Bible picture was presented to the Elm Creek Sunday school for having the largest class present This school also won the efficiency banner for showing the most points in the 4 point system for the past quarter Other school represented were: Ottawa South airview Pe oria district Spring River North airview) Mound Valley and the irst Christian Methodist irst Baptist and riends churches of Miami The usual large crowd was present and a fine dinner was served from a long table on the lawn At 1:30 the afternoon services convened with singing led by Stone Spring River su perintendent with Mrs Stone at the piano At the business session an offering was taken for expenses of the convention' No meeting place was decided upon for the next convention but the secretary has received two invitations on which the president will decide upon A round table discussion was held with Mr Cox presiding The Rev Cecil Berry pastor of the irst Christian church of Miami gave a splendid talk on Sunday A 30 minute concert was given by the Kraybill orchestra of the Miami Christian church com posed of girls and boys of junior age and directed by Mrs rank Kraybill After the awarding of the efficiency banner to the Elm Creek superintendent Archie Lan ders the meeting was adjourned until the fourth Sunday in
