Interupp. ret. 04 0-0 By AL LEVINE Miami News Reporter The Dolphins kicking game, regarded as the best in the American Conference and possibly in the National Football League, faces a four-week period of adjustment now that placement holder Karl Noomln is lost indefinitely. Noonan suffered a severe shoulder separation in Saturday night's game against Green Bay, chasing an want Bob De Marco center snap for a point-after attempt. The Dolphins said yesterday that Noonan is out in.

Team physicians were to determine today if surgery is necessary. Such injuries usually require two months to heal. "Sort of like a machine. Selfishly, I feel Caro and I and Bob have a unique thing going," The machine mallunetioned Saturday and now it needs a replacement part.

As for receiving depth, Coach Don Shula said he will use Otto Stowe on the left side backing up Warfield, Briscoe and Howard Twilley on the right side and recently-acquired Wendell Tucker, a four-yeart veteran, as a swing-man. Stowe recently was shiffted to the left, possibly as an accommodation to quarterback Jim Del Gaizo, who is left-handed and who works on the same unit as Stowe. Noonan is in satisfactory condition at Mercy Hospital. He had been in the cardiac unit at first because team physicians said he received a blow in the area of the heart, and they Were taking precautionary measures. Noonan is in his seventh season as a Dolphin, one of the four remaining originals.

He was signed as free agent out of Iowa in 1966 and made the team largely because of a clause written into his contract that stipulated he receive a trial at least the duration of training camp. He caught 58 passes in 1968, third best in the American Football League, but has been Waffle ld's backup the past two years. He holds the Dolphins' service record with appearances in all of the team's 84 games. The figure is misleading, however, in, that most of his 28 appearances the past two seasons were solely as a kick holder. The holding job will now go to backup quarterback Earl Morrall with receiver Marlin Briscoe next in line.

Briscoe had been working with Yepremian through the early phase of training camp but with little success. Mon. rail's experience with Caro has been minimal. Yepremian had adjustment problems with a new holder before Noonan rejoined the act 10 days ago at Detroit. Against the Lions, Garo kicked a 52-yarder arriong three field goals.
