Bandi By HERB RAU Miami Newt Colummit Miami's hosting two big sump events in coming months, one is the Spring convention of the American philatelic Society at the Ev. rglades Hotel, the dates are April 19 to 21. The second is a "Collectors Exposition," for philatelists principally, also at the Everglades, next January and February. It's being sponsored by Harold Tuthill, editor, of Tuthill's Stamp Journal.

The American Philatelic Society's meeting, in conjunction with the Hollywood Slamp Club's annual "Stampede," should attract dealers from throughout the United States and neighboring foreign Four seminars on widely diversified subjects will be uddcd, to the special programming, one of which will be iqf Interest to others besides-'philatelists. Title is "Philatelic Photography." Meeting along with the APS will be the Florida Federation of Stamp Clubs, the Cuban Philatelic Society, Britfsh, Caribbean Philatelic Study. Group and the U.S. Postal Stationery Society. There will be plenty of ex-hibjts, of course, and a tabie; bpurse which has been sold out for several weeks.
