FR 1-6301 Britons See A 'Monster' T. News Miami News Service LONDON A movie claiming to show the elusive and legendary monster in Scotland's gloomy Loch Ness was screened on British television last night. The 40-second film showed a blurred object which was at away lazily swerving to the right and left. Finally, the shape picked up speed and moved down the loch at a steady 10 miles an hour, throwing out a white foaming wake as it went. Aeronautical engineer Timo thy Dinsdale, 36, is positive that he saw and photographed the mysterious creature which hundreds of people over the years claim to have sighted in the Scottish lake.

After six days of watching, Dinsdale claims to have seen the monster at 9 a.m. April 23. a -r first stationary, then moved tleman turns to gold prospecting accidentally. 8:50 News, Weather, Sports 9 Highway Patrol Brod goes after bandits who have been escaping on motorcycles from the scenes of their crimes. 0 Good Morning 9:15 0 Beauty, Fashions 9:30 Mary Jane Melrin Do-It-Yourself 10 Dough-Re-Mi Qnli 0 Women Challenge He said he saw a reddish-brown "hump" about 1,300 yards across the loch.

The "hump" had a large dark blotch on its left flank. It had no fin, but a pronounced ridge down its back. As it moved "it threw out a pulsating wake and looked just like the conning tower of a submarine," Dinsdale said. Dinsdale's story was backed up on the television program by Alex Campbell, 53-year-old Scot-. tish water bailiff of Loch Ness. But on a TV appearance last week he interpolated an English word in his speech to describe the work of men in his government: teamwork. By HARVEY PACK SpeclaJ To The Miami ws About two months ago I received a phone call from a press agent to see the 90-minute film, "How Tall Is A Giant?" that Channel 7 is broadcasting tonight at 8 :30. But he wouldn't tell me what it was about. I called NBC and they, too, weren't too clear about the subject matter. I wae very curious because fvw TV shows are so unique they cannot be dismissed with an off-hand comparison to a current program whose format they have stolen.

When I reached the screening room, a young man said, "Now that we've locked the door I'm going to tell you it's a documentary that tells the story of the Monterrey, Mexico, Little League baseball team that won the Little League World Series in 1957." I immediately ran for the door but my jailer was right he had locked it. PovertyStrickeii The lights went out and the film began. The room was filled with music as the Boy's Town chorus of Monterrey sang a catchy Mexican tune as background while the titles appeared. From that moment I was so involved with the story that I was not conscious of the outside world. I was fighting my way out of the rock-filled back lots of poverty-stricken Monterrey all the way to WiLtiamsport, and the championship of the world.

It's hard to describe "The Little Giants." Production is sloppy at best and the English dubbing of the Mexican voices is particularly Ineffective early in the picture. ANGEL MACIAS Hero-Pitcher But no writer in his wildest dreams could create a more beautiful tale than this true drama of 14 underweight Mexican boys who crossed the Rio Grande to play baseball against their well-fed and baseball-weaned northern neighbors and succeeded in winning every game in a national sudden-death elimination tournament. To top it all off, in case the writer still feels he needs a gimmick, the Monterrey pitcher Angel Macias, tosses a perfect no-hitter in the final game. Human Drama But that's a baseball story, and you may not be a baseball fan. The human drama of man against insurmountable odds is constantly present in "The Little Giants" from the day their manager gets permission to organize a Little League in Monterrey.

He's an American who has never actually been accepted by the people of Monterrey who still consider him a foreigner. I was particularly moved by the reaction of the team when they arrived in Texas to begin the first round of the tournament. Mack sough his guidance just before voting in a four-way contest for Miami TV Channel Seven. John D. Pennekamp.

associate editor of the Herald, said he received a long distance call from Mack in mid-January 1956. The commission awarded the channel to Biscayne Television whose stockholders included executives of the Herald and The Miami News. Pennekamp testified he was "startled" when Mack told him he was about to vote on the channel award and wanted to know "if Biscayne's principals were good people." The Herald editor said he replied that he worked for some of them and would not be where he was if they were not good people. Pennekamp described Mack's conversation as "disjointed," and said he assumed the commissioner was either tipping him off on an upcoming story or "trying to polish an apple." Pennekamp said he had several years before had a part in recommending Mack to Florida Gov. Millard Caldwell for appointment to the State Utilities Commission.

He also related both the Herald and The Miami News supported Mack in his political career.
