His wife, Olivia, said today he died early Sunday morning at his home. He fractured his pelvis in a fall two weeks ago. The symphonic sweep of Tiomkln's colorful scores brought him Oscars for "The Alamo," "The Old Man and the Sea," "The High and the Mighty" and "High Noon" with its unforgettable theme song, "Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darlin'."
