Members of the student body elected the two SOUTH OGDEN A total of 243 students received high grades on their first term report cards at South Junior High School The honor roll listed 155 names while Sheree in the history of Weber High School will be held next Tuesday in the Warrior Gymnasium The annual donkey basketball game is certain to provide a fun-filled evening for those who attend Instructors and seniors will battle for the dubious honor of Weber Warrior donkey basketball champions on the backs of sneaker-shod beasts Although the upperclassmen came out on top last year the faculty is optimistic NOT COMMENTING It is the opinion of Bruce Dursteler vice principal of Weber High that the students will be slaughtered by the faculty The members of the senior team were not at the Weber County Ice Skating Rink Barbecue was served as part of the activities The officers urge everyone to join the club in time for the exciting events planned Students wishing to join may national convention The Bear River Chapter rated the award The delegates were Brad Hawkes Rodney Struhs and Louis Cervantes They were judged as a unit on leadership scholarship conduct of meetings supervised agricultural occupations public relations community service cooperation earnings and savings recreation and participation in state and national projects There was a special session set lunches Today the senior class officers Dennis Gaither president Kon-nie Nelson vice president and Mary Love secretary presented all seniors with a special surprise at lunch An assembly will be presented to the student body Friday Members of the senior class will present a skit and finalists of the pie eating contest will again meet together for a rematch to determine the final winner Triscik An active and talented senior she has many ac-l complishments to her credit Her skill in dramatic interpretation has earned her superior ratings at the region and state meets for the past two years Jane placed third in dramatic interpretation at the National Forensic League Western States meet last year She was twice awarded outstanding honors at the Gwenda-- lyn Thomley Poetry Festival in Logan She is a member of the OHS Drama Guild and last year was an officer SEVERAL ROLES She has held several roles in various high school productions since her sophomore year She has sung in the a cappella choir for two years and was selected to participate in the All-State Chorus in her junior year Jane is also a member of the National Honor Society and has the impressive record of maintaining
