Carrigan Is Married To James Morby 4 X7W- hs X-- Mr and Mrs George Bennett of West Point wdll celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary on New day with a family dinner at their home in the afternoon Twelve children and thirty-two grandchildren will be present In the evening a reception will be held in the ward hall for all friends A program and dance will be featured Mr and Mrs Bennett were born in Kaysville and went to West Point to live forty-eight years ago Mr Bennett has been in the West Point ward bishopric for thirty-one 3-ears Hiss parents were early pioneers of this country his grandfathers being converts to the church as early as 1834 Mrs Bennett a as formerly Miss Mary Ann King daughter of Hy-rum King Mr vo- cation is farming Mr Bennett is seventy years old and Mrs Mrs Irven Carrigan of Petersen became the bride of James Morby son of Mr and Mrs James Morby of Coalville The ceremony was performed by Bishop Alfred Bohman and took place at the Carrigan home in Peterson at seven The bride wore a lovely gown of white satin and white lace and carried a bouquet of Talisman roses Miss Mildred King the only attendant wore a jSTnk crepe gown and carried pink roses Mrs Carrigan mother of the bride wore a model of turquoise blue and Mrs Morby wore a gown of black velvet Ward Morby brother of the bridegroom acted as best man The bridal party stood before the hearth with the mantel banked with poinsettias Bouquets or roses and a profusion of holiday decorations were arranged about the living room A huge illuminated Christmas tree stood near the fireplace Only close relatives and friends were present The marriage Monday also marked the birthday anniversary of the bride RECEPTION HELD Following the ceremony a large reception was given The bridal party was assisted in receiving by the parents of the bride and the bridegroom The dining room was in charge of Mrs Alfred Bohman and was assisted in serving by Mrs Ward Morby Miss Myrtle Carrigan and Miss Hazel Whittier Miss Edith Johnson Miss Joy Wilde and Mrs Merle Peterson were in charge of the gift room Misses Chloe Robison Nyda Taggart Edith Johnson and Mrs James Carrigan in the general
