r- i liiMrnliiili.llliWl,im.i. --rirM, I ni i -i '-JSt Whitney B. Powers of West Palm Beach died Sunday, March 14, 2004, after an extended illness. He was 93. Born in Rye, N.Y., he was a resident of the Palm Beach area for more than 60 years and a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, West Palm Beach.

Mr. Powers was a graduate of the Choate School and attended college in Gustav, Switzerland. A tennis professional, Mr. Powers also was director of the Southside Tennis Association at Phipps Ocean Park for more than 20 years, until his retirement in 1985. He was married to Maxine Powers, who died in 1997.
