Palm Beach Daily News, Tuesday, February 11, 1986 Page 51 Fran Todman Receives Surprise Honor At Retina Gala But Mrs. Todman was expecting maybe a Steuben vase or bowl as a token of the institute's appreciation for her 10 years of vigorous support. Instead Mrs. Todman got a placque at the party. What the placque spelled out that the electrophysiology laboratory at the institute has been named after her caused Mrs.

Todman to become the Flagler, too. Old Town did the centerpieces which one guest at the party who goes to nearly every Palm Beach party of the season declared were the besi centerpieces of the season. The five-foot glass vases out of which blossomed white orchids towered over the tables. WENDY KEELEft speechless. Murray and Joan Goodman were taken by surprise, too, when they were given the institute's Sundial Award for the generous support.

Linda Flower and Judy Grubman co-chaired the party. They dazzled. Dr. Charles Schepens, founding director of the institute, was at day night party. Big ones.

Fran Todman, who has served as general chairman, co-chairman, and a committee member of the gala since its founding, knew she was to be honored at the party. She has been a trustee of the institute since 1982 and a member of the institute corporation since 1980. About 400 people showed up at the Flagler Museum on Sunday night for the 10th annual dinner dance to benefit the Eye Research Institute of the Retina Foundation in Boston. Beside the obvious fact that the institute had never before celebrated a decade of dinner dances in Palm Beach, there were other surprises at the Sun HOMES BY APPOINTMENT ft pi i.iIHW.JMIIUi? i Bill and Lisa Plough, Fran Todman's daughter Fran Todman and Dr. Charles Schepens Judy Grubman and Linda Flower 1ST Nancy 1 -w i Wilkinson i -71 i i own SIMPLY SPECTACULAR Superbly appointed 5 BR, 6BA home built entirely around a truly magnificent indoor pool area.

Settling an estate is no longer a simple matter. Today's personal representative has to be not just an expert in estates, but also in tax planning, accounting, real estate, investment management, cash flow analysis and other specific disciplines. Obviously, no one single person can be tliat expert. And, yet, many otherwise intelligent people burden a family member, trusted friend, or family attorney with the most difficult task of sole personal representative.

The Chemical Trust Company of Florida has an answer. It's called the Family Chemical Partnership. Chemical's team provides the expertise, experience, and overall management in the literally hundreds of details most family members are not prepared to handle. At the same time, a family member, trusted friend, or family attorney will still be right there working with us in a partnership to make sure your wishes are carried out. Today, nothing can make settling an estate easy.

But the FamilyChemical Partnership can at least make it easy on the family.
