She said that she screamed when she saw Allen, whom she recognized as the man who took her purse earlier, stepping from a car and toward her.

The two were nabbed by the officers who were a short distance behind Mrs. Trenkler. Allen admitted having taken part in three of the six robberies which occurred during the past five weeks. He led officers to a rock pit in Hallandale, where, he said, he disposed of the purses. One of them was recovered there.
