"Taken all together, I do not consider the things asked objectionable," he said. There Were 75 questions. Some of them, he said, were "Do you find home a hard place to get along in?" "Do you live in a make-believe life in addition to your real lue?" "Did you ever run away from home?" "Did you ever feel )ike running away from home?" "Do things- ever seem to get misty before your eyes" "Do you feel bored a good deal of the time?" Prof. Henry said the Idea behind the interrogations had been to "try to get a slant on the children's general attitudes." Lawyer Offers Free Services to Aid Escaped Georgia Prisoner my I'nlted Pre) ATLANTA, Ga May 25. Law and sentiment remained at, odds tonight as.

Georgia became politically Interested in the case of Robert Elliott Burns, Chicago magazine editor and escaped convict wanted back on a chaingang in this state to complete serving a term for a $4 robbery. State Sen. E. D. Rivers, candidate last year for governor, announced he would serve free as Burns' lawyer in an effort to save the "man who has gone straight." Rivers was ready to make the question of a pardon for Burns a political issue in the 1930 campaign.

lie demanded an immediate pardon. Gov. L. G. Hardeman, after signing Requisition' papers for return of Burns from Chicago, said he would await recommendations of the state prison commission as to a pardon.

Under the present system, the commission would not be likely to consider Burns' case for 10 months or a year. The two men who were arrested for the robbeery that Burns has since said he was forced into through hunger, are no longer in the state. Sidney C. Glegg was pardoned three years ago. John Moore escaped in 1924.

His whereabouts are unknown. Should Burns be sent out on the road gang he will be subjected to a rigid discipline and life that can be nothing but a. far call from that of recent years. Heavy chains linked to each leg keep the convicts from running away. In some groups the prisoners sleep in cages mounted on heavy wagons that trundle their live freight here and.

there where there are roads to be repaired. Burns was arrested earlier in the week, according to his story, his wife told authorities of his past, because he had left her. and not seeing Texas Guinan or thc4 lere aa early as April 25. This year, however, there has been no flight of the mosquito as yet, he reports. A program extending over a period of five or six years, expending $23,000 a year, could completely control the breeding of the mosquito, he believes, leaving Miami an all-year-round pleasure anil health resort and convention city.

According- to Dr. MacDonell, there Is a popular error, difficult to eradicate, that 'mosquitoes breed in weeds. Mosquitoes can propogate only in water wlich is allowed to stand sis seven days, he says, but they will breed in anything that collects water rain barrels, tubs, troughs, cans, milk bottles, old auto casings, flower vases anything that holds stagnant Jtrater. "Most families breed their own jests. since this type of mosquito does not fly far," he continued.

"Householders are urged to inspect carefully their premises and request their neighbors to do likewise, turning over receptacles which contain water so that the next rain may not refill them. Cans should -have holes punched in them on being emptied. Bain barrels should be screened, or harve kerosene on surface. In houses of bungalow type, it is advised that papers stuffed up the chimney, as many mosquitoes find entrance in this tfay to an otherwise well-screened house.
