Her fiance is a 1967 graduate of Coweta High School and a 1971 graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in petroleum technology. He is enployed by Atlantic Richfield in Hobbs.

An ecru cloth trimmed in lace, draped the serving table which held a spring bouquet of mixed flowers in a crystal bowl. The centerpiece was flanked with white tapers in matching crystal holders. Green Is B-PW President KERMIT (Staff) Mrs. James Green is the new president of Kermit Business and Professional Women's Club. She was elected April 3 in the Mesquite Room of the state, bank. April 7 The communion table was centered with a three-branched candelabrum and greenery was used on front pews. Windows were lighted with candle arrangements. The organist offered a selection of religious hymns and traditional wedding marches. Parents are Mr. and Mrs.

The bride wore a formal gown of silk organza, featuring a high ring neckline and Victorian yoke with bib effect of hairpin lace. The A-line skirt gathered into fullness at the highrise waistline to form a chapel train. Lace detailed the long, full sleeves with wide cuffs and formed a deep self-ruffle at the hemline and continued on the chapel train. Her veil of illusion fell from a lace camelot to match the gown. She carried a colonial nosegay of yellow tea roses and laced carnations, backed by pearl hearts and interspersed with insertion lace.

Mrs. Michael Joiner was matron of honor and Miss Lisa Hodge was maid of honor. They were attired in long, formal gowns of yellow dotted swiss nylon and yellow picture hats. They carried yellow frenched carnation nosegays backed by twinkle illusion. Michael Joiner, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man.

Groomsman was Alan Joiner, also the bridegroom's brother. The reception was held following the ceremony in the fellowship hall at the satin and pearl trimmed hells 'and roses decorated the table and wedding cake. The couple will reside in fori Bragg, N.C., where the bridegroom is presently stationed. Special out-of-town guests were Miss Olive Waldron, the bride's aunt, St. Paul, Mr.

and Mrs. Leory Vanderworth, the bridegroom's paternal grandparents. California; and Mr. and Mrs. John Spieler, maternal grandparents, Old Glory.

Sorority. Her fiance also is a student of Howard Payne, majoring in religious education, and is a candidate for graduation in August. He is vice president of the Student Body, is on the University President's Advisory Board and is listed in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. Further business resulted in the members making a decision to purchase loose leaf notebooks for use as yearbook covers starting in September, 1973. Mrs. Young, program chairman, introduced members of the program committee for a brief over view of the program therrie "Culture the Catalyst for Change." Mrs.

R.D. Mahan presented "Perpetuation" stating that culture is the complete design for living. Mrs. Beene brought out that in these times there is no status quo as she "Innovation." Mrs. J.D.

Golden gave a definition of "Amalgamation" as a tendency to merge or draw together as she spoke of that facet of culture. Ending the presentation was Miss Wilma Baze, who talked of music as force for "Coagulation." Delta Iota is one of the three local Odessa chapters of the Delta- Kappa Gamma Society, which is international in scope and made up of key women educators. The Chapter's last meeting of the school year will be a dinner at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 17 at the Odessa Country Club. Mrs. Marie Ward who is the area director from San Angelo will be guest speaker.
