Miss Guyla Clark and Charlie Ives eloped when they married in Cisco. They followed the oil exploration to Rising Star, Breckenridge and then resided in Texas. Rev. Lenard Hartley, pastor, invites Odessans to hear the 60-member musical aggregation. The choir has been touring the United States for six years, performing jn churches in the states of Louisiana. Georgia, Missouri, Colorado. New Mexico, Mississippi and others leaving a great witness for Christ each time they appear.

The tour this year consists of about 40 young people of High School age who are active in varying phases of work in the First Baptist Church. They have chosen for their performance this year the musical, "Celebrate Life." This moving interpretation of the life of thrill. Christians and awaken non-Christians to a new readiness to accept the Word of Christ. Songs are in good taste and will appeal to people of all ages. The choir is directed by Ray Voorhees, minister of music, of the First Baptist Church where he has served for two years.
