Great credit is due to Misa Edith Rice and Miss Dora Broadbent, whose constant work made the play the success that it was. Alys Danford as Prunella, and Anna Scott- as Pierrot played th leading parts, while the three aunts, Dorothy 'Anderson, Greto Gluud and Helen Wedemeyer did exceptionally well.

Henrietta Wedemeyer as the Boy deserves very high credit. She threw herself into the part perfectly. The Mummers aided in carrying out the beautiful, yet fantastic, part of the play, and the Gardeners all helped to make the presentation a great success. The scene opened with a garden. After a brief conversation, the gardeners withdrew, and the three aunts entered with their niece.

The play was one of the most fascinatins and enjoyable that has ever been presented in Lihue. Evidently the audience must have expected a great deal, for the Parish House was filled to its capacitj', and certainly their expectation was fulfilled. The Dramatic Club was ably assisted by Mrs. C. A.

The final game of the West Kauai singles handicap tournament was played Sunday April 27, at the McBryde court, between Kenneth Pettis of Port Allen and William Bumke of Kekaha. The men were well matched In all points of the game, and the consensus of opinion among the witnesses was that. a handicap of half a point in favor of Bumke was unfortunate, since the contestants were so evenly mated.

The game was hotly fought, and an interesting one during every moment of play, and up until the last speculation was rife as to the final outcome. Bumke's strong forte was a brilliant smashing drive, which generally won him the point. Pettis game was steady and even throughout. There was much rallying, and many a point hung fire through repeated deuces. The final score gave Bumke the victory' and the coveted racket, 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.
