Plans for future fund raising projects were the main topic of discussion.

The firemen will have Santa Claus at the fire hall on December 13, with treats for the kiddies. The meeting was adjourned with refreshments being served by Noami Mellott and Betty Jane Mellott. Hope Smartt and family. Larry Mellott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mellott, will enter Shinnenburg State College this week. Our best wishes are with him, as with all our other students.

Some of the little children of our community are having chicken pox. Word comes of the death of Mrs. Ralph Mellott, who has formerly of our village. The Sunday Schools of Belfest Township gave an interesting program last Sunday with an inspiring message by president Baltzer Deshong and Rev. fioyd Truax at the Tcwnship Sunday School Association Rally at Pleasant Ridge Brethern Church.

Don Hill and Brooks Smith were the Pleasant Grove lay men, who gave Laymen's Service at Rick Hill UCC Church last Sunday in Bedford County, while the Mearkle Brothers held the service at Pleasant Grove.
