Stebelton of Lancaster; great-granddaughter, Caroline Mason of Picker- Gertrude Hildinger Gertrude "Gertie" Hildinger, 82, Baltimore, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at Heartland-Fair-field Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a retired clerk for Walt Disney World. She was a member of the Little Country Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jess L.

and Norma Hildinger of Lancaster, two daughters and sons-in-law, Janey L. and Bob Townley of Sunbury and Joy L. and Scott Little of Ashville; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Juanita F. and Ted Bader of Baltimore and lla A. and Dick Smith of Lancaster; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit E. Hildinger; parents, Ralph and Florence Yingling; three sisters, Bernita Z. Yingling, Evelyn M. Williams and Betty J. Shupe; and brother, Ralph W.

Yingling. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in Johnson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Baltimore, with burial to follow in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Septic 50 Ruth Smith Ruth Ingrid Smith, 84, Lafayette, died of natural causes Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at Centura Health Avista Adven-tist Hospital in Louisville, Colo. The daughter of Peder C. Log-sted and Kristina Skjodt-Pe-tersen Logsted, she was born Feb.

13, 1919, in Aalborg, Pen-mark. She married Stephen J. Nahodyl on Nov. 28, 1937, in the Bronx, N.Y. He preceded her in death Nov.

1, 1968. She then married Laurence W. Smith on Sept 5, 1971, in Levittown, N.Y. He preceded her in death April 25, 1980. She moved to Boulder, in 1985 from Seaford in Long Island, N.Y., then to Lafayette in 1988.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a housewife. She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church of Boulder. Her hobbies included piano, singing in the church choir, the Boulder Choral and needlework. "A devoted Christian, she enjoyed her family, her music and her hobbies," family members said.

"She was the inspiration that gave us the values to guide us through our lives, with love and compassion." Survivors include three sons, John S. Nahodyl of Louisville, Paul M. Nahodyl of Mont-clair, N. and Peter W. Nahodyl of Lancaster; a brother, Walter N.

Logsted of Palm Harbor, five grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, in Boulder at Atonement Lutheran Church. A graveside service followed at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Atonement Lutheran Church, 685 Inca Parkway, Boulder, Colo.

80303. M.P. Murphy Associates NOV. 30, 2003. He was born Sept 16, 1946, in Fairfield County, the son of Jess Sr.

and Pearl Wal lace. He was a graduate of Lancaster High School, worked for Anchor Hocking for 16 years and retired in 1981. He was in the Army for 3 years, 8 months, serving his county in the Vietnam War, where he was stationed for 18 months. Three sisters, Robin Brown, Kathy Jarry, Pat Madder, survive in Lancaster. Surviving is his wife of 36 years, married May 19, 1967, Judy Roush Wallace.

Also surviving are four daughters, Angel Wallace Leach, Tesha Wallace Leach, Deanna Wallace and Crystal Wallace; and five grandchildren, Brittany Smith, Brandon Leach, Myranda Leach; and a son and daughter of Angel Leach. Richard C. Stewart, 79, Lancaster, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away bunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born Aug. 6, 1924, in Lo gan, the son of Samuel and Estella Winbum Stewart.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War, serving as a military police officer. He retired in 1965. He worked at the Boys Industrial School where he established and trained the "Dixon Dorm Honor Guard," a military-style drill team that performed in parades and state fairs, receiving numerous awards and He was an employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber and was a retired supervisor at Ralston Purina. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane Opey Stewart; sister, Jean; sons, Richard C.
