A-12 SUNDAY, NOV. 5, 1995 -THE UKIAH DAILY JOURNAL- Daily Digest Nov. 5, 1995 OBITUARIES Richard 'Fred' Allen A graveside service for Richard "Fred" Allen of Ukiah will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the Ukiah cemetery, He died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1995 in San Francisco.

Born Nov. 20, 1945 in Santa Rosa, Allen worked as an electrician most of his life and was a truck driver with Aplum Inc. for two years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in the Victnam War and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He lived in the community for 30 years. Hc is survived by his wife, Linda Allen of Ukiah; his mother, Fannie Allen of Ukiah; his daughter, Lynda Allen of Santa Rosa; his sister, Susan Allen of Ukiah; his brothers, Donald Allen and Jerry Allen of Ukiah, Rodger Allen of Oregon, Robert Allen of Redwood Valley and Michacl Allen of Fort Bragg. Ruth Emily Marsh Ruth Emily Marsh, 83, of Redwood Valley, died Friday, Nov. 3, 1995 at a local hospital. She will be buried at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.

Born Jan. 31, 1912 in Columbus, Ohio, she was a homemaker for 65 years. She had lived in the community for four months. She is survived by her son, Richard L. Marsh of Redwood Valley; her daughter Joan E.

Smith of El Paso, Texas; six grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammie, in 1983. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. ARREST Joseph Deanda, 52, of Ukiah, was cited and released on suspicion of possession of driving under the influence Saturday. According to the report, Deanda was stopped at 12:31 a.m. ARREST Orion Organist, 18, of Willits, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. According to the report, Organist was arrested in the 200 block of North School Street at 11:21 p.m. Friday.

SHOOTING A 20-year-old man was arrested Friday after he allegedly shot another man in the leg with a rifle in Laytonville. ARREST -A 31-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after her car overturned on East Road in Potter Valley Friday. CHP officers said Jane Sutton, of Potter Valley, was traveling east on East Road near Mid-Mountain Road in Potter Valley at 6:20 p.m. when car ran off the road and overturned. Her car came to her rest against a power pole.
