Church St. Following worship, there will be a fellowship time honoring the birthday of Evelyn Paxton, long-time church secretary who is now confined to a nursing home. Aglow breakfast MANSFIELD Aglow will sponsor a women's breakfast meeting Sept. 16 at 9:30 a.m. at Daugherty's Restaurant, Possum Run Road. Kim Beveridge will present "The Glory of His Presence," a combination of teaching and testimony. Pre-meeting prayer will begin at 9:15.

The wife of River of Life Community Church elder Kyle Beveridge, Mrs. Beveridge has been involved with dance ministry at River of Life in Butler for 12 years. She is the mother of four teens and director of Winds of Fire Dance Ministry. Reservations are due by Sept. 10 by calling Juanita Walter, 756-7964, or Lois Perito at 683-3414.

Breakfast will be ordered from the menu, with a $1 cover charge per person which includes gratuity. There will be a silent auction as a fund raiser to help Aglow leaders attend the Aglow International Conference and 30th-Anniversary Celebration in New Orleans on Nov. 21-24. Baked goods, crafts and miscellaneous items are requested for the auction. Seminar on angels MANSFIELD Precious Seed Ministries will hold a seminarluncheon Sept. 11 at noon at the Holiday Inn's Oak Room with hostspeaker the.Rev. Joyce A. Wolf. Her topic, "The Truth About Angels," will address the aspects: What is an angel's mission? Will I become an angel when I die? Do I really have a guardian angel? A hot buffet lunch which includes drink and dessert will be available for $10.

Trinity Lutheran ASHLAND -Gordon Jensen, Nashville recording artist and gospel composer, will be featured guest musician at the Saturday Night Folk Service at Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Center tonight at 6:30. The service will include hymns, lessons and a sermon. An offering will be accepted.

Jensen has been nominated five times for Songwriter of the Year by the Gospel Music Association. Child care and seating for handicapped persons will be available. The church also will install teacher and staff of Sunday school on Sunday at the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Sunday school is at 9:35 and 10:45 a.m.

Children's Day MANSFIELD Lincoln Heights Church of Christ in Christian Union, 670 Kentucky will hold Children's Day on Sunday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Chris Meenach, ventriloquist, and his friend, Lester, will be at the event, which is for children of all ages and their parents. He is a registered evangelist and children's worker with the Church of the Nazarene. Promotion ceremony MANSFIELD Ridgeway First Church of God, 1380 Park Avenue East, will conduct a promotion ceremony for Sunday school children Sunday at the 10:40 a.m.

Cowboy Fellowship MANSFIELD Bill and Adrienne Buckley of Cleveland will be at the Cowboy Fellowship Church, in the Sturges Room of Park Place Motel, 191 Park Avenue West, on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Schedule changes SHELBY Services at First United Church of Christ, 23 Church will return this Sunday to the regular schedule. Church school classes for all ages begin at 9 a.m., followed by worship service at 10:15. The Rev.

John Bradley will be in the pulpit after his vacation, and the chancel choir will return to the loft after its summer hiatus. Eucharistic Adoration ATTICA St. Stephen Catholic Church, County Road 23 and County Road 6 in eastern Seneca County, will observe the annual day of Eucharistic Adoration on Sunday.
