and 2:30 p.m. each day. Festival Grant Lancaster Festival USA has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency advised by the National Council on the Arts. The $2,000 grant, presented to Cameo Concerts, the non-profit organization that presents the annual 10-day multi-arts festival, will be used to support fees for American artists at the 1987 festival, scheduled from July23-Aug. 1.

Thefts Reported A school and two homes were entered by unknown thieves, according to separate reports today from the Fairfield County Sheriff's Department. Tara Newcombe, 2555 Pine Grove was taken to Lancaster-Fairfield Community Hospital by Amanda squad following the accident near the intersection of Clear-creek Rd SW and Snortin Ridge Rd. The girl was treated and released from the emergency room. The girl told deputies she was traveling north on Snortin Ridge Road when she became frightened and confused when she rounded a curve in the road and saw the pickup truck heading south. The driver of the truck, Jeffrey Figgins, 538 Nor-thwood Logan, told deputies he saw the girl lose control of her bike. He applied his brakes and left 24-foot skid marks before the collision.
