Heldmann, who lettered last season after two years with Blinn Junior College, and Schmidt, a soph, are both 6-4 and that just about represents height for the s.quad. However, Wilbur Caskamp, a 6-6 soph squadman from Houston, may come along and freshmen H. L. Weiss of Pflugerville, a 6-4 lad, could develop.

Holmstrom led the team in scoring last season while a feshman, bucketing 354 points. Heldmann, who played at had 282 points. Gilbreath, a junior, had 266 and Schmidt 169. Orsak, who transferred from Baylor, played only the second semester but appears a fixture this season. Kenneth Lindgren, a freshman from S.F.

Austin (Auslin) who earned all-tournament honors for the Maroons, is the brightest looking freshman prospect.
