Wssxism Star URSD AY, May 1997 5A Page Honda planning improvements Girl drowned in fountain will begin production in fall 1998 with 300 associates and an annual production capacity of 100,000 units. It is expected to increase to about 600 associates. Most of Honda's Marysville plant's ATV production will be taken over by the Timmonsville plant, Honda spokeswoman Sharon VanWinkle said. This will let Marysville associates "get back to their roots" and concentrate on motorcycles, she said. "It's really a tribute to our associates here at Marysville who started producing ATVs in 1989," VanWinkle said.

"We really built the market for that in-the United States." The success of the Marysville plant led to the need for expansion, she said. Honda has manufactured ATVs at its Marysville plant since 1989. The motorcycle business recently has been growing rapidly and production has to be stepped up, VanWinkle said. Bill Kalp, one of the Marysville plant's original associates in 1979, will server as project manager for the Timmonsville plant. No associates will be transferred or laid off, VanWinkle said, suggesting instead that with the increased production more associates may be hired at Marysville.

Fitsko. When she returned, her daughter had disappeared. Officers and friends had searched nearby homes for MacFadden, Fitsko said. "We were assuming since the (backyard) gate was open the child was missing," he said. "A lot of times a child that small doesn't wander that far." A friend found MacFadden submerged in the family's backyard fountain.
