Vitals 7A Page SUNDAY, October 11, 1998 J Local Notices Portion of 309 to close Wednesday MARION The Ohio Department of Transportation is replacing a culvert on Ohio 309. The work is scheduled to begin Wednesday and end Thursday. The state route will be closed between Lee Road (Township 87) and Ohio 203. During the work, traffic will be detoured onto Ohio 37, Ohio 95 and Ohio 203. Flushing program continues on Monday MARION Ohio American Water Co. will continue its fall flushing program Monday. The flushing process may cause some temporary water discoloration, but will not effect the water's safety. Running water for several minutes should eliminate the problem, a news release stated. Residents are asked not to do laundry when flushings is taking place in their area. Flushing does not have to take place on your immediate street for water to become discolored.
