FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21, 1951 fcw 1 Mother's Class Enjoyed Turkey Dinner Monday The class of St. John's church, Orwigsburg, held its annual Christmas party on mm0-- GRANDPARENTS TENDER MISS JANE DEIBERT A PARTY Miss Jane Deibert, of E. Market street, Orwigsburg, observed her 17th birthday anniversary on Dec. 13 and in honor of the occasion her grandparents, Mr.

and Mrs. J. J. Deibert, of Schuylkill Haven, tendered her a party at their home. Pink and green were the colors used in decorating and the table centerpiece was a beautiful cake in the shape of a Christmas tree.

A delicious lunch was served and Jane received many lovely gifts. Those present were: Mrs. Eva Brawn, Miss Jean Leininger and Mr. and Mrs. J.

J. Deibert of Schuylkill Haven and Mrs. Irvin Houser and daughter, Janice; David Graser and the honored guest, Miss Deibert. Mondav evenine at the Fellow-i Frederick Schultz Of Auburn Passed Away Friday Frederick H. Schultz ,74, wholesale grocer, of Auburn, died last Friday at his home after an illness of the past year.

A son of the late William and SybiHa Spears Schultz, he was born in Auburn and lived there all his life. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, the F. and A. M.

Lodge 138, Orwigsburg, and was formerly employed as a passenger engineer for the" Reading company, before entering the wholesale grocery business in 1930. He was the last member of his immediate family. Surviving are his wife, the former Annie Reber; two sons, Guy. Deer Lake, and Clifford, Auburn; three grandchildren; one great grandchild. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at the convenience of the 'family, with interment in St.

John's Lutheran and Reformed cemetery. Auburn. The Rev. Charles T. Herman had charge of the services.

The D. M. Bittle funeral home had charge. and Best Wishes for Your Happiness in the New Year ship Center. At 6:30 o'clock a full course turkey dinner was served by the Women's Guild of the church with appropriate holiday table decorations and favors and a large lighted Christmas tree in the room added much to the setting.

After dinner talks were given by Atty. Guy E. Waltman, teacher of the class; the Rev. G. J.

Bartholomew and Mrs. Harry Cooley, president of the class. Gifts were presented by the teacher, the class president and the usual Pollyanna exchange was made and names revealed. Games for Christmas were thor Ralph H. 8 Sam.

Deibert CORP. GRASER LEFT FOR CALIFORNIA Corp. Melvin Graser, who spent a 10-day furlough at hime with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Graser, left for California from whence he will cross the Pacific.

Wagrner FRANK J. WAGNER Frank J. Wagner of McKeans-burg passed away on Tuesday tnorning at the age of 88 years. He was born i nWest Brunswick township, a son of the late Jared and Mary Moyer. Lodge Held Christmas Party J.

H. BROKHOFF, DAIRY 1 1951 I Lavender Rebekah lodge held a Christmas party after the regular lodee meeting on Thursday eve ning of last week. A program of readings, recitations and carol singing was enjoyed. Our hope, this year as always, Is for lasting Henrietta Strause Wagner and resided in McKeansburg the greater part of his life. For a number of years before his retirement he was a lineman for the Mahoning Telephone Co.

He was a member of the Reformed denomination of Christ church, McKeansburg. He is survived by his wife the former Minnie Copenhaver; three brothers, James McKeansburg; William, Cressona, and Charles Schuylkill Haven, and three sisters, Mrs. Alice Dunkleberger, Hegins; Mrs. Carrie Kimmel, Auburn, and Mrs. Edward Menjyle, Reading.

His funeral was held from the Greenawalt funeral home today at the convenience of the family. The Rev. John R. Gulick officiated and interment was made in Christ cemetery, McKeansburg. At the sound of sleigh bells Santa Claus made his appearance and distributed candy favors.

In return he received a beautiful bas 1 ket of fruit. peace on earth. Gifts were exchanged among those present' after which a delici ous covered dish lunch was served; The table decorations in red and green were beautiful. A gorgeous tree added to the decorations. Everyon present received a corsage of evergreens, red berries and bells.
