AIR COUNTY Emergency boost -Press Democrat Photo Emergency equipment for Sonoma County Air Ambulance gets a boost this year when Sonoma County Medical Assistants Association will purchase a cardiac monitor defibrillator with proceeds from their seventh annual Little Reno Night April 8 from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. in Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building. Jean Cain, left, is president of SCMA; Stephen Weil, R.N., is nurse coordinator for the ambulance service, and will be in charge of the equipment which will be available at no charge to the patient. Little Reno Night tickets, include dinner and are $10.

They may be obtained from Zola Bennett, 542-5864; Mrs. Cain, 528-3500, or Mrs. Nancy Seegelken, 542-4423. She is chairwoman and will be assisted by committee chairwoman Loretta Brasacchio, Bennett, Dorothy Hayes, Patricia Cantrell, Mary Dibble, Joan Leahy, Jean Franklin, Mary Testorelli, Dusty Brown and Maria Fincher. Reservations must be made by March 23.

The new emergency information service, announced earlier this week by Dr. Thomas Novotny, emergency room coordinator, began March 1 and will operate 'round the clock.

The hotline number is (707) 527-7177. Community Hospital installed a new Poisondex unit in the emergency room last year.
