'vVEDNtSDAY, JULY 1, VHt AIviAKlLLO GLOBE ASKLIGHTING EXTENSION ON SOUTH TAYLOR PROPERTY OWNERS TENTH TO SIXTEENTH WANT WHITE WAY Still another white way system extension was fought Tuesday night. Every property owner on Taylor Street between Tenth and Sixteenth Avenues Btened a petition, 'presented to the city commission, and a delegation appeared Tuesday night to 1 urge granting of the petition. "Tyler Street has been lighted to Sixteenth, Avenue aiiy. we think we should have the same consideration on Taylor Street," one member of the delegation tolci the commission. "I think Taylor Street should be lighted from Tenth Avenue as far as the park." The petition was received, but the matter of answering the prayer of the petition was taken under advisement.

Many white way extensions have been authorized within the last several months. In one Instance property owners presented the commission with a pashJers' check to pay for standards to bo used in. a street lighting system. Another petition, presented recently, still is being 1 considered by the city commission. The petition ashed for an extension of the white way sys tern on Polk Street from First Avenue or the railroad tracks north to Eighth Avenue.
