Comprehensive Coverage applies to physical loss other than by collision . . . such as glass breakage, fire, hail, etc. It may be purchased with or without a deductible . . . depending on the cost you wish to pay. Collision Coverage pays for all losses incurred by collision witli another object and may be purchased in various deductibles. The 28-year-old former Stanford star and Heisman Trophy winner, obtained from the New England Patriots last spring, was pronounced in excellent health by team physicians after reporting to training camp at San Jose State University. Plunkett, who had surgery last season to repair a shoulder separation, says he feels great. "Now it's just a matter of poise and confidence," said the quarterback, who's been lifting weights and doing light workouts to stay in shape. "I certainly don't want to get hurt again. I'm a little ap : prehensive about that, but I'm enthusiastic. I'm ready to go." Detroit Lions Sign Top Pick PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) — 'The' Detroit Lions Tuesday signed their top draft pick, James Hunter, the speedy defensive back from Grambling. Hunter, 22, was Detroit's top pick last February and the 10th player chosen in the National Football League college draft. The newest Lion is 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, and can play either cornerback or safety or as kick returner, the Lions said. Last season, Hunter intercepted nine passes. He averaged 13.6 yards on punt returns. He returned six punts for touchdowns, but four were called back because of penalties. He has 4.4 speed in the 40- yard dash. Mark Butler, 20, Iowa Falls, Iowa, was in the judge's office to sign extradition papers, the Scott County Sheriff's Office said. He is wanted in Iowa for parole violation, officers said. (AP) — An 8-year-old Liberal, Kan., boy credited with saving his mother from severe burns when her clothing caught fire has won an award for his presence of mind. Presentation of a Kansas Safety Council Award of Merit and a special plaque from the state fire marshal to Randy Wagner was scheduled today by Gov. Robert F. Bennett at his Wichita office. The incident occurred only a few days after Randy's class heard a Fire Prevention Week program on safety. During the program the students were told what to do in the event an individual's clothing caught fire. Last Oct.20, it happened. Randy's mother was attempting to light a barbecue fire and her clothes were ignited. As she was about to panic and run, Randy yelled at her to roll on the ground, which she did, extinguishing the blaze. Randy then went to a neighbor's house and returned with help. Bennett said he has for- . warded the boy's name to the '•, U.S. attorney general as a ' contender for the Young American Medal for Bravery and Service presented each year. He is one of four young people to be presented the Sil- > ver Medal Junior Fire Marshal award by a nationwide insurance firm : Randy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wagner. < Ike's Temper Fearful, Davit/ Says in Book NEW YORK (AP) — David Eisenhower says his grandfather, the late war hero and president, Dwight D. Eisenhower, had a temper "that put the fear of God" into anyone who felt its force,. Eisenhower is working on a book about his grandfather, tentatively entitled "Going Home to Glory: Dwight D. Eisenhower." Random House, which will publish the book, said Eisenhower declared in his proposal for the book, "He was powerful, friendly, stern with a temper that put the fear of God into man and child alike with its terrible force."
