It appearing to the board that it will lesson the contract price of the proposed bridge for which bids were advertised at the last meeting if the west end of the above proposed road is built first, thus lessening the cost of getting material on the ground, therefore on motion duly carried it was ordered that Supervisor Smith be authorized to build that section of said proposed road west from the proposed bridge site, at a cost not to exceed $300. The bond of A. W. Biggers for the construction of the Signal Port Bridge was accpeted by the board. In the mallei of the proposed road and bridge near Calpella.

The report of the viewers of the above proposed road was accepted by the board, and notice to non-consenting land owners ordered published in the Dispatch-Democrat, time fixed for 11 a. m. Tuesday, August 6th, 1912. On another motion duly carried, bids for the construction of the above proposed road and bridge ere ordered advertised for, bids to be received up to 3 o'clock p. m.
