"The Witch of Whitman High" (repeat) The current interest in psychics (not physics) and witchcraft gets an airing here. A lovely student arrives at Whitman High and her weird dress and habits soon reveal she thinks of herself as having special powers, labeling her a witch. Pete Dixon, Liz and Miss Johnson all have a hand in straightening out the confused young lady. 9:30 p. m.

Channels 5, 6 (Columbus), 6 (Mansfield), 6 (Bucyrus) The Odd Couple. "Win One for Felix" (repeat) Felix wants to play the big man with his son, so he takes over the coaching duties of his boy's football team from looks upon himself as a budding Knute Rockne, but the team doesn't share his enthsiasm. Of course, Oscar steps in to save the day, but not until Felix goes through some funny lockerroom scenes. 1 10:30 p. m.

Channel 8 The Governor and J. J. (repeat) Fairly amusing episode, vintage 1969, concerns a Latin American dictator who happens to be a former college classmate of the Governor. Michael Ansara plays the fellow, and he's properly ominous. For a chance, J.

J. becomes hostile because she doesn't dig (note the swinging, with it terminology) the man, and shows her youth by her coolness. The Governor, of course, is very wise and all ends well. for Your listening Enjoyment Television viewing tonight is highlighted by a unique presentation of the Dick Cavett Show, featuring, of all things, a cab driver and Bette Davis, on Channels 6 (Co. lumbus), 6 (Mansfield) and 6 (Bucyrus).

Tonight the show originates from New York and London, via two way satellite and split screen techniques, making it possible for instant transatlantic conversations. In New York, Cavett's format is the same, and so Is Michael Par kinson's, Cavett's BBC counterpart, who is also featuring a cab driver. For those wishing to find out about the exciting life of a cab driver and his views of the dwindling globe and the wonderful world of television, tonight's show should not be missed. For those who enjoy reruns, the following is offered: 8 p. m.

Also seen on Sunday will be the National AAU Women's Track and Field Championships from Canton and the Los Angeles Invitational Swimming meet, at 3 p.m. on Channel 10 and the CBS Tennis Classic at 4:30, again on 10.

Edward E. West, 1131 West-view has been appointed program manager of WOSU-TV, Columbus. Mrs. Cater i the WOSU staff as program assistant in the summer of 1970, before moving to the traffic manager post. A graduate of Mansfield Malabar, Mrs.

Cater was a member of the debate team, the National Honor Society, the drill team, the chapel choir and senior ensemble, while serving summers as dramatic counselor at Hidden Hollow Camp near Bell-ville during high school. She entered Ashland Col lege in 1966 with a major in secondary education and a i in comprehensive speech. Honors included Alpha Psi Omega the drain a i honorary, Kappa Delta Pi the education honorary, Kalon senior women's honorary, the Women's Student Government Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities and first runner-up as Ashland College Homecoming Queen. She conducted an early-morning radio interview program in Ashland during her college sophomore year, and two other radio programs over the college station. She also was employed by an Ashland radio station where she served as an engineer, host of a90-minute woman's talk show, sold time, wrote radio spots for clients and set-up interviews and formast.

As program manager for WOSU, she will supervise production, schedule public television service programs and programs produced locally by WOSU-TV. The appointment marks the first time a woman has held this position in the Columbus TV market and makes her one of the few woman television station program managers in the country.
