He had suffered from a heart condition since early childhood.

Shrine Club Plans Ladies Night Program The Zavi Shrine Club will hold a Ladies Night dinner meeting at hall 6:30 on p.m. the Muskingum Wednesday in Kelly College campus at New Concord. Mostest Hostess TOKYO (UPI)--The Tokyo night club. hostess with the mostest averaged 400,000 yen ($1,111) in tips from customers last year, the Tokyo tax administration reported Saturday. The average hostess reported monthly earnings of only 50,000 yen The National Report Greenwood Had Warning Of Only Two Minutes GREENWOOD, Ark. The weather bureau said Saturday the first warning that a storm existed near.

Greenwood Friday was issued only. two minutes before a tornado smashed half the town to pieces and killed a 12 persons. "It was one of those storms that began to build very rapidly," said James Huff, meteorologist in charge of the weather station at nearby Fort Smith. He said' forecasters did everything they could. Hundreds of other persons were injured when the twister sawed a 400-foot-wide path through the center of the Ozarks foothills town of 2,000.

Some residents were still missing Saturday. Lt. Gov. Maurice Britt said he was asking disaster designation for Greenwood. Britt and top National Guard and state police aides arrived from Little Rock early Saturday.

Hundreds of townspeople, state police, Red Cross and civil defense workers, and military reservists searched the rubble. The Insurance Information Two Nashport Girls Injured In Area Crash Two Nashport area girls were slightly injured in a one car accident at 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Ohio 146 about 10 miles west of Zanesville. Injured were Mary Ann Wheeler, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Clinton Wheeler of Nashport Route 1, who complained of neck pain and Cindy Lacey, 17, of Box 5 Nashport, who was treated for back and shoulder abrasions and a head bump. Both were released after treatment at Bethesda Hospital where they were taken by a passing motorist. The girls were passengers in an auto driven by Larry S. Lumbatis, 16, of Nashport Route 1, who was cited for excessive speed. State Patrolmen said the westbound auto skidded off the highway.

Fatal Fires TAIPEI, Formosa (UPI)-At least eight persons were killed and more than 1,000 homeless after two separate fires razed 109 wooden shacks and gutted the 10-story Hotel Hwa Mei Saturday, police said. Institute in Beaumont, set an early damage estimate from the tornado at $1.5 million. There were at least homeless in the town and 65 persons remained hospitalized more than 24 hours after the tornado struck. Cut Red Tape At Customs To Lure Foreign Tourists AUSTIN, Tex. (UPI)-The White House, in a further attempt to lure foreign tourists to this country, Saturday announced the start of a test program aimed a cutting in half the time required to clear customs at U.S.

ports of entry. The test project is part of the administration attempt to attract foreign money to the U.S. to help solve the balance of payments problem. The program will start at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York where incoming travelers will be given a one-stop inspection instead of having to make separate inspection stops for immigration, customs, agriculture and health authorities.

If the program succeeds it will reduce the inspection time from an average of 40 to 45 minutes to the New York airport to an average of 20 to 25 minutes. The White House said the will be put into program operation at Kennedy Airport no later than June 15. It said that if the program is successful it, will be extended to other international airports with the. second experimental site probar. bly San Antonio, Tex.

A tornado demolished the Greenwood, Friday. Vice President Gary Wilson, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilson of near Rix Mills, a junior at John Glenn High School, was elected vice-president of the Ohio Future Farmers of America at the annual convention held yesterday at Columbus.

Tornado Alert For Northwest Ohio Is Lifted CLEVELAND (UPI) The Weather Bureau said Saturday night that an all-clear had been issued for all of Ohio at 10) p.m., ending a tornado alert for northwest Ohio. Showers and a few thundershowers now in northeast Ohio were not expected to be severe and they were to end before midnight. The Weather Bureau said heavy rain and lightning had been observed but no reports of hail or damaging winds were received.

The threat of tornadoes also ended in all of southern Lower Michigan and the tornado watch there also was canceled. Scattered thunderstorms however, were to continue in the extreme southeastern Lower Michigan up to midnight. Auto In Creek; Four Rescued DELAWARE, Ohio (UPI) A dump truck collided Saturday with a car from Wheaton, sending it over a bridge railing and plunging more than 50 feet into Alum Creek on Ohio 36 east of here. Four members of the Robert Miller family were rescued from their car in the chestdeep creek and taken to Jane Case Hospital here, with three being injured, two seriously. The Global Report Docking Sputniks Land Safely On Russian Soil MOSCOW (UPI)-The Soviet Union said Saturday it has returned to Russian soil the two Sputniks which made history's second automatic docking in orbit.

It also announced the third "Cosmos" launching in as many days. Cosmos 212 and Cosmos 213, which docked in orbit Monday, were brought back to earth Friday and Saturday, the Soviet news agency Tass said. Cosmos 216 was launched Saturday into an orbit suggested it might be a spy in the sky or, like Cosmos 212, the prototype for a new manned spaceship that could carry Russians to the moon. The docking and safe return to earth of Cosmos 212 and Cosmos 213 marked "a new large step in the creation of orbital stations and interplanetary ships," Tass said. The increased tempo of space launchings raised inevitable speculation the Soviets plan a new manned launching.

Nobel Peace Prize winner. 3,000 Granted Amnesty ATHENS (UPI)-The regime which seized power in a lightning army coup marked its first year in power Saturday with an amnesty for an estimated 3,000 persons convicted or charged with petty offenses. The amnesty, announced in brief statements published by newspapers, came after several days of indications the government was stepping up a crackdown on political opponents. Under the amnesty, persons serving up to six months in jail or awaiting trial on charges carrying up to 12 months sentence will be freed. An amnesty announced at Christmas freed several hundred persons, including composer Mikos the Theodorakis and Andreas Papandreou, the U.S.educated son of a former premier now under house arrest outside Athens.

Thant On Way To Teheran PARIS Secretary General Thant arrived in Saturday night en route to a human rights conference in Teheran and denied speculation he would meet with the North Vietnamese ambassador. Thant planned to stop in Paris for about 12 hours before continuing to Teheran Sunday morning. Thant said upon his arrival he would not meet any French or other foreign diplomat while in Paris. Curtis has: two daughters by each of previous marriages. a Chlorine Gas Is Released A one-ton tank of deadly chlorine gas ruptured Saturday at the city water plant next to a crowded supermarket, sending about 75 choking persons to the hospital. Claude Weeks, administrator of the Flagler Hospital, said at least 25 persons were admitted for treatment for inhalation of the deadly fumes. One man, suffering from asthma, was listed in critical condition.
