Mueller with the condition that she spend the first 30 days in the county jail. Karen Reno, of 923 S.

Marroquin, 28, of Clover, who pleaded guilty to a charge amended upon motion of the district attorney's office from statutory rape to contributing to the delinquency of a minor, was placed on probation for 18 months.

Pamperin, 18, a former Manitowoc resident now of Appleton, was placed on probation for one year after pleading guilty to possession of marijuana.

Judge Mueller deferred sentencing in ordering the probation period with the condition' that if Pamperin satisfactorily fulfills his probation requirements, the charge will be dismissed, the defendant discharged and no Action Awaits Decision Any Manitowoc County Board resolution providing for a county solid waste disposal commission will have to await a decision of the attorney general's office regarding the question whether or not such bodies would have the right of taxation and property condemnation. That was the end result of a discussion during Tuesday night's board meeting of a request by the City of Manitowoc that the board "reactivate" its solid waste activity. Atty. Richard E. Garrow, county corporation counsel, said he will be meeting soon with the attorney general on another matter but that the taxation-condemnation decision will be brought up at that time.

An opinion has been written but has not yet been released, board members were told. Atty. Reginald P. Buran who heads the county's committee on the solid waste program said he wants "some direction" from fellow board memBers on what should be done. Buran said meetings have been held with everyone and the issue has been "hashed and rehashed." Sup.

John Larson moved that the solid waste committee of the board bring in a resolution to create such a commission but deleting the two sections concerning taxation and condemnation. Larson's motion died for lack of a second. Sup. Dalton Jaeger said he wanted to wait for the attorney general's, opinion; that he would not vote for creation of a commission otherwise. Board members acknowledged that the disposal was a difficult one especially for cities of the county.
