Thornton is survived by her husband, Kendall Ray 1 normo two sons, Kennon Roy Thornton and Kelly Eugene Thorn ton, oin of Mize; two daughters, Kathy Adams and Karla Tuggi Mize; her mother, Vilonia Toney Jordan; brothers, T. J. Mize, X.V. Jordan of Magee and Howard Jordan of Mnnger, grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Jordan, and a sister, Madell Lofton.

Mack Henry Hall, age 49, of Magee died March 8, 2003 at Magee General Hospital. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Graveside services were held March 1 1 at Magee City Cemetery. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr.

Hall is survived by his mother, Hazel Dale Condia, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Hall. Bobbie Jean Jordan Thornton Bobbie Jean Jordan Thornton, 61, a homemaker, of Mize died March 10. 2003 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Heath O'Neil Frye, age 3 months, of Magee died March 3, 2003 at Simpson General Hospital.

Funeral services were held on March 6 at Kennedy Springs Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his parents, Kevin and Leslie Frye of Magee; maternal grandparents, Bill and Linda Bennet of Mt. Olive and Dale Cockrell of Mt. Olive; paternal grandparents, E.

H. and Rita Little of Dalhart, Texas; paternal great-grandmother, Minnie Underdown of Dalhart, Texas; maternal great-grandmother, Billic O'Neil of Mt. Olive; and maternal great-great-great grandmother, Maxic White of Mt. Olive. Drive-in kicks off statewide scholarship contest April 19 for three scholarships," Ridgeland, Rolling Fork, Tupelo, Vicksburg, Waynesboro and Yazoo City.

For more information about the 'Bump Around the State' Bumpers Bumpers Drive-In, located in 29 markets throughout Mississippi with a recently opened store in Mendcnhall, announces their new scholarship contest, 'Bump Around the open to all Mississippi high school juniors and seniors. "Over the years our corporation has offered many high school scholarships. We currently offer an annual $1,000 essay contest in many participating high schools in the state," said Dr. Sethi, president of the Bumpers Drivc-In corporate franchise. "However, for the new 'Bump Around the State' scholarship contest, we wanted to do something fun, unique and open to all juniors and senior high school students.

At the same time, we wanted to provide every college-bound student with a great chance to win a college scholarship," he added. To be eligible, each applicant must visit 20 different Bumpers Drive-Ins. No purchase is necessary when visiting the restaurants. This contest ends April 15, 2(X)3. The corporation will hold a drawing for scholarships of $1 ,000, $2,500 and $5,000 on Saturday.

April 19, 2003. Students who complete the contest requirements will receive one Bumpers Drive-In meal per week for 52 weeks. Bumpers Drivc-ln was established as a family-owned restaurant franchise in Mississippi nearly 18 years ago in May 1985. Today, they now have 29 restaurants throughout the state, and one in Tennessee.
