TOLL HOUSE OATMEAL COOKIES \ Makes 50 cookies Vitsp. water legg 1 cup Quaker or Mother's Oats, • uncooked 1 six-oz. pkg. (1 cup) Nestle's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels Toll House* Oatmeal' . Marble Squares GET ALL THESE NEW COOKIE RECIPES IN SPECIALLY MARKED PACKAGES OF QUAKER OATS NOW - Scotch Toffee •i 7 • ^ ' ' . ' Harlequin Dippers Flavors you love... Nestle's ma ' % cup sifted all purpose flour Vj tsp. soda Vztsp.salt Vz cup soft butter or, shortening. ' . - . 6 tbsp. granulated sugar 6 tbsp. brown sugar Vz tsp. vanilla Heat oven to moderate (375°F.). Sift together flour, soda and salt; set aside. Blend butter, sugars, vanilla and water. Beat in egg. Add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in oats and chocolate morsels. Drop by rounded half-teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated oven (375'E) 10 to 12 minutes.
