Four bodies of the passengers who were killed in the wreck on the Erie railroad at Rt I House last Monday were identified todny. They were Mrs. Sarah A. Moore, aged eighty two years; Mrs. Nellie N.

Wilson, aged forty eifrht years, and Dora Lynch, aged eleven years, all of Manning. W. Va. The Identification was made by Mr. and Mrs.

J. W. Krusen, of Shingle House, whither the three were bound. Mrs. Moore was the mother Of Mrs.

Wilson and Mrs. Wilson was the mother of Mrs. Krusen. The Lynch girl was a niece of Mrs. Krusen.

The Identification was established by means of a watch case found near the bodies. Relatives Frank H. Barhite, a traveling salesman, who lived at Medina, N. claimed the fourth body, identifying it by means of a pair of cuff buttons. Only one body remains to be identified.

He was a railroad man 'before he entered the employ of the city and will again engage in same pursuit, having already several opportunities under consideration. BUILDING PERMITS. CITY HALL NOTES.

The committee on rules, regulations and ordinances met last night and considered the ordinance requiring all railroads to maintain watchmen at principal crossings at night. N. D. Doughman and S. L.

Morris, representing the Lake Shore road, represented that they did not consider It a necessity to have a watchman at the Wells and Cass street crossings at night from the fact that no trains are scheduled to pass there between the hours of 5 in the evening and 10:30 at night. There were no other objections to the ordinance offered. Work on connecting the wells at the Van Buren street water station was resumed today by Contractor Derheimer. The recent high water flooded tho field, forcing a suspension of operations. If the weather is reasonably fair for week or two the contractor will be enabled to complete the work which has been under way for two yenrs.

The express drivers are again without a place of habitation. Last fall they were ordered off Clinton street to Barr street and now comes the mayor who says that the market place must now be given over to marketers and the expressmen must hunt other quarters. There la no ordinance providing a permanent place for them and they are being driven from pillar to post. An examination of the register of the leading hotel shows that John F. Lee and two. ladles were there last Saturday and remained until Monday afternoon, when they went to CJlfton Forge and there took the westbound train for Cincinnati While here Mr. Lee and his companions spent their time sightseeing.

FOUOHT BLOODLESS DUEL. Berlin, April 22. Two medical students, Boohme and Witt, have been sentenced by the criminal court to four months imprisonment for fighting a bloodless duel with pistols. Boehme averred that Witt purposely jostled him in the street, but a court of honor of university students' societies decided that a challenge was r.ot necessary, as Witt a as lame and probably did not mean to touch Boehme's person. Boehme then, in the court of honor, slapped Witt, who struck him in return.

The court of honor then decided that they must fight duel with pistols, as Boehme's right arm was weak from a recent sabre affray. Three shots were exchanged at fifteen paces In the Gruuewald forest at 2 o'clock one morning. Neither of the duellists was touched. PARRY WILL MAKE REPLY. Indianapolis, April 22.

D. M. Parry today declined to discuss Senator Hanna's Columbus speech, but said he would answer it in time. He left the city today. As he was boarding his train, he said he had not had time to carefully study the senator's words.
