The attendance on the Oscar Mayer-WOC night was 3,952, boosting the season's total to 71,047. Tonight the Angels open a two-game series with Fox Cities. Ed Sukla (3-3) will be on the mound for Manager Chuck Tanner's team.

Preceding the Midwest League attraction, which starts at 7:30, the Mohassan Grotto and the Knights of Columbus will hook up in a three-inning contest, starting at 6:30. The proceeds of this special night will go to charity. The ab breviated game may not be the tops in class, but a laugh a minute is guaranteed, what with the setup on hand. It is possible all baseball rules will be broken. Tuesday night the Angels had things going their own way until the Manager Don Bacon's C-Snx, in their final appearance here for the season, tied the count at 3-3 in the seventh.

The game went that way until the bottom half of the 12th inning. It. C. Stevens, who had homered in the sixth inning with nobody on, almost sent the ball out of the park again. The horseside hit the top of the left field fence and bounced back.

R. C. was credited with a double. He went to third as Bob Mitchell hit a grounder to shortstop Rich Morales, who was charged with his fourth error of the night as he drew first sacker, Cleo Mar-ris, off the bag. Pete tiongola was passed intentionally, loading the sacks.

The strategy looked good as Dave Marshall tapped to Harris, who got Stevens at the plate. Denny Meyers ended the 3 hours and 10 minute game as he s'iit a fly to right fielder Don Mitchell streaked for home arrived safely. Chris Maneff, the reliable relief pitcher, was called in to relieve starter Lon Morton in the seventh inning after the C-Sox scored two runs to tie count at 3-all. Chris did quite a job after that.
