Miss Mary E. Cronin, principal of the school, will serve as advisor for both committees. Mrs. William Allyn, program chairman, served as moderator of a panel discussion on "Understanding Our Children by Knowing What They Read, Hear and See." Taking part in the discussion were Mrs. Leon Hill.

Mrs. Foster Rinehart and Mrs. Harold Hixon. Mrs. Garmhausen called attention to the current observance of National Education Week and OD urged parents to visit the schools.

Announcement was made of the study group meeting at 7:30 p. m. Nov. 15 at Central school under the leadership of Dr. Ranald M.

Wolfe. Mrs. Lewis Weber supervised a nursery for children during the meeting. Singing Games Feature of Meeting Weekly meeting of Girl Scout Troop 24 was held Wednesday afternoon at Calvary Lutheran church. Mrs.

W. J. Blanchard State Head To Address Women Voters Mrs. Warner J. Blanchard of Dayton, president of the Ohio League of Women Voters, will speak on "Women on the March," at the November meeting of the Ross County League of Women Voters, Wednesday afternoon at Scioto Lodge.

Past president of the Dayton league, Blanchard also has served many years on the state board of the West Virginia League. She was chosen "Woman of the Year" in Dayton in 1947. Luncheon at 12:30 o'clock will precede the meeting. Reservations: may be made with Mrs. Alva Streeter, phone 23-549.
