All results are unofficial until the Pike County Board of Elections can certify them in the next 10 to 15 business days. Dale Reed was voted mayor with about 86 percent of the votes. He faced Jonathan Claytor, who was previously a City Council member. "I want to make things better," Reed said.

"We've got a lot of work to We have to get everyone in the same direction, which can be hard to do." Kempton beat Lynn Downey in the race with about 67 percent of the votes. Bevens called the race a "good dose of humiliation," and said he was very surprised at the results in a number of races. "I thought they would be more tightly contested," he said. "I ran a good, clean campaign, and I'm proud of that," Blakeman said, emphasizing his thanks to voters for returning him to his seat. "I look forward to serving for four more years." Like the other council members, Blakeman said there are several ongoing projects right now, such as work with the city's parks. "There's never a lack of work for us," he said. For the 5th Ward, Steve Fisher ran unopposed as the only Republican in the race.
