PLEASANT GROVE REVIEW, PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH THURSDAY, MAY 21,1959 THURSDAY, MAY 21, 1959 Junior League Softball Slated By Stake, Schedule Set Up Timpanog-o- Stake Jr. League Softballwill get underway this night at 7 p.m. at thePleasant Grove High School diamond. Teams will play Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights during the months' of May and June and Monday and Wednesday nights during July. Age of participants, according to the Athletic Handbook, is as follows: All boys are eligible to play who have reached their 12th birthday by June 1, 1959 but have not reached their 19th birthday by Sept.

1, 1959. Two rules have been adopted to helpkeep the games moving and keep the time schedule up. They are: 1. Any team failing to field a team by ten minutes after game time will forfeit the game. 2.

Any team failing to field a team two consecutive nights of play will be dropped from the schedule. All players and interested parties are invited to clip the schedule and keep it for reference. All games as listed are for 7, 8:10 and 9:20 each evening. May 25 Monday Third vs. First, Fourth vs.

DeMo Drill Team to Sponsor Evening Entertainment Sat. "A Night of TV" will be sponsored by the DeMilo Drill team Saturday evening, May 23 at the Pleasant Grove High School. The local girls drill team are raising funds fortheir summer activities and are putting on a variety show for this purpose. Ticket prices are set at $1 and may be purchased from any of the girls or at the door. The entertainment will start at 8 p.m.

Cheese Rice Fondue Wi cups milk 1 cup boiled rice or Yi cup uncooked rice Hi cups shredded Cheddar teaspoon salt 1 egS', well beaten 1 butter Mix all ingredients together except paprika, reserving half cap cheese. Pour into buttered casserole.Bake in a 375 degree preheated oven until done, about 30 minutes. A few minutesbefore baking timeis up, sprinkle with the remaining cheeseand the paprika.

Finish baking. Yield: 6 servings. Butter Cookies 2 cups sifted flour teaspoon baking soda Vi teaspoon baking powder Vi teaspoon salt cup butter 154 cups sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup dairy sour cream Sift flour and remaining dry ingredients together. Cream butter. Add sugar gradually, mixing well.

Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Blend in the sifted dry ingredients. Drop teaspoons of the dough onto a buttered cooky sheet andbake in a pre heated 400 degree oven for minutes.Yield: 6 dozen. Creamy Chocolate Butter Frosting Vt cup butter 1 package confectioners' sugar, sifted 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon milk or cream 2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted Cream the butter until smooth. Add Mi of the sifted confectioners' sugar and cream thoroughly.

Add the salt, milk and vanilla. Blend.Add unbeaten egg and melted chocolate and beat until smooth. Add remaining amount of confectioners' sugar. Beat until smooth. If frosting is a little thick, more milk or cream may be added.
