Nigel is now a feature writer for the United Press International and works out of the Salt Lake office.

He is currently working on an article regarding- the RYU championship track team and was in Pleasant Grove to interview young athletes who intend to enter BYU this fall. Nigel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Hey of this city and a graduate of Pleasant Grove Ilig-School. He graduated from University of Utah last June, with a major in journalism.

and Mrs. Sundberg, died Monday evening in a Provo Hospital of a respiratory infection. He was born June 19, 1958 Provo, ason of Elwood and LuGene OlpinSundberg. Survivors: parents and sister, Kent, Marsha Kay, Jan, Jay, all of Orem; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.

Louis Olpin, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Esther Sundberg Brown, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at the Olpin Sundberg Mortuary, Orem, directed by Bishop Luzell Robbins of Orem 16th Ward. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

LOCAL NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Randall Shipley returned Monday evening from a trip to Billings, Montana, where they visited Mrs. Shipley's son, Roy Harper and family. Their granddaughter, Carolyn Harper, returned with them for a vacation here.

Granddaughter Wins State Vocal Contest Miss Karen Knight of Woodland, has been recently judged winner in a state-wid- 4H vocal contest held at Logan. The 15 year old contest winner is the daughter of Oarlile and Le-Or- a Walke'r Knight andis a granddaughter of Mrs. Florence C. Walker of Pleasant Grove. Delia Adams of Salt Lake City, who will spend one day in Lindon, and a sister, Mrs. Rhea Hardy of Portland, Ore. Mrs. Hardy will remain here until after the Fourth of July holidays. Mr.

and Mrs. Ruffell and Mrs. Hardy will enjoy one day in Provo visiting the Ruffell's daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Farley..
