Aaron Satovsky of the Deldler company Jn Auburn received a telephone message from the Detroit police department Friday saying that his new automobile which was stolen July had been located. The car was recovered somewhere In Detroit and particulars as tojts condition were not given. The car was a new Auburn and had been run only a. few months. Superintendent Resigns. (Special lo the News.) RLUFFTON. July 10. J. S.

Cardiner, superintendent of the city electric light and water plant, tendered his resignation tp the city council last evening. He stated that ho had lieen offered a bigger Job with an Increase in pay, which the city could not meet. He stated that he would remain until someone can take his place. M. Farmer Commits Sui.cide. (Special to the News.) WABASir, July 10. Porter Eltzroth, aged 40. a farmer residing a mile and a half south of LaUro.

near here, shot and killed himself yesterday morning in ono of the farm buildings. He left a letter to his wife explaining the cause of his act. When he did not come home for dinner, hit wife began looking for her husband and found the letter. A search over the farm wits then made and he was found shortly after I o'clock. HOLD THIRD MEETING Large numbers of people from the rolling mills district attended the third community meeting held next to the mission at the mills last night. The entertainment was put on by the social committees of the Y. W. C. A.

and Y. C. A. Music was furnished by the orchestra from the Indiana state school. Movies were also shown last night.

A. camp at Lake Syracuse marked the breaking of the, first real boys' camp that this city has ever known. Construction of the camp was started on June 14 and was completed by June 11, in time to accommodate the first group, of boys who were on the outing from June II to July 1, Their, places were taken by younger boyei who left for the camp July 1, and, returned this afternoon. Cars to convey all camp, members, to and from Syracuse were furnished; and driven by Rotarlans. Four trips were taken In all, making a total of four days which each driver sacrificed In order to render the service.

Trucks drivers to haul camp luggage and paraphernalia were also; furnished free of charge by different business concerjiS of the city. Number In Charge. A large. number of men were In charge of the boys during the three wee'ke, L. A.

Two colored chefs prepared food for the campers. The camp was run on the principle of a military camp. Every rule breaker, was punished by means of ''kitchen police" and were required to peel potatoes and clean pots and pans. "Camp police" also was a military custom. Next Camp nigger.

That the next camp will be rim oh a large, scale was the announcement made by the secretaries today. Plans also are under way to have a camp for older men and young men next summer. Syracuse, which 'Is an Ideal Spot for a camp, will be used next summer. More tents will be added and bunk houses may be built. It Is probable that the camp will be made Into barracks.
