In attendance were 12 guests, who showered the honoree with gifts of miscellaneous nature. Decorating the mantle of the Schroeder residence was a miniature replica of a church sanctuary, which included an altar, palms and tapers and a bridal party in scale. Canasta was the diversion provided, with prizes for excellence going to Mrs.

Victor H. Wardein, mother of the bride- to-be, Miss Ann Wardein, her sister, Mrs. Henry H. Boss and Mrs. Harry Klinke.

The hostess served refreshments from a table adorned in an all-yellow motif, with a centerpiece of yellow roses. Out of town guests among those present included Mrs. Wardein's sisters, Mrs. Sid Johnson and Mrs. Charles Patterson, both of Kansas City, Mrs.

Henry Scheltinga and daughter, Jcanette, of Kirkwood, Mo. Miss Wardein, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor H. Wardein, 1024 Diamond and her fiance, youngest son of Mr.

The former Miss Wall, wearing a ballerina length gown of white AJecon lace and a scalloped illusion veil held by a coronet of seed pearls, carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations.

Her sister, Mrs. Martin R. Smith, was her only attendant, dressed in an aqua silk and lace gown and carrying a bouquet of yellow carnations. Jack Rosenthal served his brother as best man. Following the ceremony, dinner was served and a reception held at Le Chateau.

After tLweck's wedding trip through the Ozarks, Mr. and Mrs. Rosenthal will reside at 5826 Cabanne St. Louis. The bridegroom is studying for a master of arts degree at Washington University on a Ford Foundation Fellowship.

Formerly a student at the University of Tennessee, where he became a member of Zeta Beta Tau, social fraternity, he was graduated last June from Washington University. Women of Moose Plan Several Events During a social meeting last night in Moose Lodge, members of Women of the Moose, Alton Chapter 1131, planned to assist the men with their annual picnic, scheduled a covered dish supper and a white elephant sale. The Moose picnic will be held Sunday at Veterans of Foreign Wars clubgrounds in Cottage Hills; Moose members and their families will be guests at the covered dish supper, which will be served by the women Wednesday, Aug. 22, and the white elephant sale will take place Saturday night, Aug. 25, in the lodge. Also at Tuesday's meeting, Mrs.
