WEBER. Mrs. Heinrlcke Weber died Sunday morning at o'clock at her home, 602 Walnut strset, after an Illness of several weeks from typhoid fever. Mrs. Weber waa sixty years old, and was born In Wurtemburg Germany, coming to Fort Wayne with her parents when a child.

Her husband, Prof. J. J. Weber, who died in 1889, was a teacher of music In St. John's Reformed school here and later taught music in ths Clay school.

Phillip Hess, aged father of the young man, accompanied by Attorney Gates, came here from Columbia City this morning and are now In conference with the authoritls and members of the Walker Lewis firm endeavoring to avert service at the warrant. They promise that as soon aa the young man Is able to be moved to turn him over to the custody of thi aherlff of Whitley county until an Inquest can bs held and his sanity determined.

The officers here believe young Hess Is Insane on the subject of blackmail, especially whers It concerns carriage companies. He was arrested but a few weeks ago for attempting to black mall a manufacturing firm at Columbia City by tame means he employed here. Hess denies that his mind has be in affected by reading trashy literature. He saya he Is studying electrical engineering. He Insists he has never been away from home over two weeks during, yearngn" his whole life.
