March 0, 1833, by Justice Ezra Olds, where they lived until the year 1815, emi grating from Delaware County, Ohio, to Bteuben county, Indiana, In 1846, where they lived for five years, and In Janunry, 1851, moved to Maysville, this county, where they have lived to the present time (thirty three years.) Their family consisted ot six children, two boys and four girls only two of them are living, one son and one daughter.

There are nineteen grand children living and four dead. Also six groat grand children. The sub jects of our sketch have lived exem plary Christiana, faithful and true, to the best Interests of Christianity, ever standing firm and unyielding in the fundamental doctrine of Christ. But the battle is almost won, the oonfliot almost over, when victory will be swallowed up in death. The occasion was one long to be remembered by those who participated, it balng the first golden wedding ever celebrated in Maysville.

Many were the congratulations of friends and neighbors to the aged couple, who have thus far stemmed the torrents of life's boisterous ocean, as their little bark has floated down the stream of time.
